Overview
I build a data logger for medical devices, which can be used for collecting research data from patient monitors and other medical devices.
The project has two parts. It consists of an open source NuGet library (.NET/C#), which implements clients for communication with several medical devices. The project also consist of a suggested hardware solution based on Raspberry Pi, which can run the data logger software.
Research teams can freely use the solution, thereby providing a low cost solution for data logging for research.
Currently (April 2025) it supports:
- Philips Intellivue MX-series patient monitors
- B. Braun Space infusion pump/perfusor system (using BCC protocol)
